@anacc3257 the hope is that by actually answering this rhetorical question, you might challenge their assumptions that the US foreign policy is inherently bad, and inspire some critical thinking.

The government is run by experts who are way more knowledgeable than you. Whatever they discuss publicly is done so with purpose and precision. It’s also likely already public info and thus, no need to be secretive

@jwright4222 why you hate Biden? He’s a better man than you ever will be

@Paul83614 this stuff you’re hearing about is not at all secret or revealing. Intelligence in Iran would know of our response or guess of it regardless how we would announce publicly.

US forces are in Jordan because Jordan wants them there, and US wants to support liberal allies in Syria, fighting in the Syrian Civil War, such as the SDF.

Why does Iran desire to bomb US forces helping liberal allies fighting a war they didn’t ask for? Who’s the real bully? US, or authoritarian Iran? Get out of your head that all nations are equal.

@L333gok the government does not control the “free market” lol. If it did, it could just as easily fix it as break it.

@miladeskandari7 please stay safe and get somewhere safe. From, an American. Also…do you think Iran should be partitioned between Kurdistan, Armenia, and Azerbaijan? Or that the US/UK should reoccupy the nationalized oil facilities?

US troops are in Jordan to defend Jordan, and help nearby Syrian rebels who the US supports, namely the SDF.

@stretfordender11 it’s not odd. We are communicating openly to the public and to our allies. Iran knows a response is coming, there’s no point in being secretive. Being secretive makes the U.S. appear suspicious and weak, like Russia.

@melkordadarklord what’s so bad about US troops being in Jordan, helping liberal US allies in the Syrian Civil War?
