US needs to attack Russia and Iran more forcefully

Cris Rodrigo US never targeted Iraqi and Syrian cities. US never targeted civilians. What Russia is doing is unprecedented since WWII.
1
Cris Rodrigo those civilians did not die from US rockets or US bullets. They were killed by enemies of the US like the Taliban, or by the Iraqi Insurgency. How can you compare that to Russia which is striking directly at civilians? US never did that.

Cris Rodrigo US never bombed civilians. You are saying a lie.

Cris Rodrigo the BBC article makes no mention of US attacking civilians, so you’re wrong there. I can’t read the New York Times article because of the paywall, but what’s visible states that the target was hostile Syrian militants. Civilians were not the target, their death is regrettable but it was either an accident, or deemed acceptable collateral damage due to the importance of the targets. Furthermore the US is in Syria because of legitimate reasons of self defense and helping allies in Syria like the Kurds and rebels, Russia is not comparable at all. Russia targets civilians deliberately or avoids mitigations. Look up how often Russia kills civilians and compare that to the US. After adjusting for other factors like duration and scope of hostilities, you’ll see that Russia is worse in all ways than the US and its allies.

Cris Rodrigo nothing in that article from Brown says that the US is targeting civilians or killing them in great numbers. You have not shown any proof for your claims. It makes me wonder why you are asserting a claim that is objectively not true. I assume you are emotional and offended at the idea of some countries like the US persecuting bad countries like Baathist Iraq and the Taliban. Maybe the idea of a just authority laying down the law makes you uncomfortable?

@mr wpg US never carpet bombed the Middle East.

Cris Rodrigo are you reading the words right? Cite the phrase which says the US is killing civilians and include the relevant data. It’s not there. Secondly, why do you want dictatorships to exist? Dictatorships are bad because they abuse people. US is right to remove them and their supporters. Some Afghans, Syrians, and Iraqis are grateful for the US invasions and wanted the US to occupy and nationbuild. These people are more moral than their dictatorship supporting peers and are more justified.
1
Cris Rodrigo why’s it bad that the US invaded dictatorships?
1
@mr wpg US did find chemical weapons in Iraq. But US also established democratic institutions in Iraq, especially in Iraqi Kurdistan in the north.

@mr wpg Afghanistan under the Taliban deserved to be invaded in 2001 and benefited greatly from US occupation. US and Israel attacked Lebanon because of Hezbollah, again they deserved it. US never attacked Syria, it is helping local rebels who are fighting extremist groups and the Baathist government under Assad. US never attacked Yemen, it is helping Yemen fight against extremists and Iranian-proxies like the Houthi Rebels, who started the Yemeni Civil War. US is justified always here.
