  6.  @अण्वायुवरीवर्त  something else, US never created the Taliban. You are conflating the Muj with the Taliban and that is not accurate. Some of the Muj went on to become progressive and secular, and founded the Northern Alliance and gave rights to marginalized groups like women, minorities, educated professionals, etc. That is the legacy of the Muj, not just the hatred of the Taliban.

  7. @CMLAFLAMME I say Taliban is worse than the Iraqi Baathists, but not by much. Saddam Hussein was genocidal and he got what he had coming. Iraqis who supported him are either delusional and uneducated (high likelihood) or are equally cruel as him.
