@Cryptlord9999 I don’t dispute that it takes more energy to produce hydrogen through electrolysis, than the energy you get out. I just say it’s irrelevant. However mathematically inefficient green hydrogen fuel cells are, it doesn’t matter. Renewable energy is limitless and so waste is unimportant. What matters is that hydrogen fuel cell is sustainable and adequate, and it is. A hydrogen powered car has equal or superior functions to electric cars. That means, hydrogen fuel cell is acceptable, despite its inefficiencies that you are hung up on.
You may be thinking “why bother making hydrogen with electricity, even if it’s green electricity? Why not just use the electricity itself?”. Well, the reason why electrolysis-hydrogen fuel cells are good, is because hydrogen has some advantages over battery stored green energy. Cars using hydrogen fuel cell can be refueled as quick as gas cars, only a couple minutes, and much quicker than electric cars can recharge, which can take 20-minutes to an hour at most recharging stations.
You have no proof that electrolysis is not practical
