@GM14218 we can make those demands but Russia will ignore them. This is documented and you can read news articles about it. Russia said repeatedly they would not trade Whalen for Viktor Bout. Specifically they said “a spy for a spy”, meaning, they saved him to trade later. Russia has all the leverage here, that’s why they’re holding hostages. We want these hostages back, we need to follow their terms. It’s that simple, and the solution of course is to stop letting our citizens go to Russia.

Iran is not acting in self defense here. Iran was one of the main orchestrators the October 7th massacre against Israel, and Hamas is their proxy, along with the Houthi Rebels. Iran is responsible for this conflict, and for the Yemeni Civil War since 2014 to the present. Iran is an aggressor nation. Its militants and officials are legitimate military targets for Israel and the West to eliminate. So, Iran has no right to resist, it has no moral right to keep existing or acting as it does, unlike Israel and the US.

@dd-uy5lx Iran is the one who started October 7th along with Hamas, and they starts the Yemeni Civil War back in 2014 to the present, via their other proxies the Houthi Movement. Iran is not toothless, it is a very dangerous threat.

Many reasons why the US should support Israel or otherwise pick a side. Firstly, it is the right thing to do, Israel is a loyal ally and we should be in kind, it is also democratic and fighting a defensive war. Secondly, the US can, by picking a side, keep the peace, and discourage war.

@texasvenom7814 before Covid-19 the trend for the last several decades is that liberal states like MA and CA give money, and rural conservative states like Alabama and Mississippi take. Within states, we are a pattern of Democrat led cities funding the rural countryside. The liberal Chicago area feeds conservative rural Illinois. In Texas, Democrat cities like Houston, San Antonio, Dallas, Austin, El Paso, etc feed the conservative countryside. As for Covid-19, liberal states were allowed to be hit by Trump, a whistleblower spoke to Vanity Fair said the team saw fit to let the virus spread in Democratic states to embarrass the Democrats. Sounds genocidal to me even.
