  427. Robert Murray US has a long policy of helping others. It was Bush who famously declared “War on Evil”. Kuwaitis and Iraqi Kurds love the US’s wars, because it gave them freedom. US later gave Iraq billions to rebuild. Seems humanitarian to me.

After the Soviets left, the Muj split into the Taliban and the Northern Alliance. US gave aid to the Northern Alliance against the Taliban.

North Korea started the Korean War, with Chinese and Soviet support. The Chinese kicked the Nationalists out of Mainland China, and both the Soviets and Chinese were sponsoring communist insurgencies in Asia. The US had reason to fear a war in Vietnam
