  4. Aaron Corrow I call bs on all that. Your boss doesn’t give you raises out of generosity. If he’s paying less taxes, he’s got no reason to pay you more. Congress reduced taxes, not Trump. And these taxes are both unsustainable and unhelpful because they benefit only the wealthiest. Stock Market doing well doesn’t affect most people in any meaningful way. Trump also has little to do with that. Unemployment was decreasing under Obama, and Trump cannot take credit for standing on Obama’s shoulders.

  28. You know Israel would be more willing to play ball with Palestinian statehood if they showed they were interested in peace. But their actions make that irreconcilable. An easy first step would be for the PA to end the pay to slay martyr fund, and to apologize for terrorism like the Second Intifada. They don’t even do that, shows they don’t want peace, or can’t deliver it because their own citizens won’t stand for it.

  49. How is Biden to blame for the Russian annexation of Crimea? Secondly, do you remember that it was Trump who initiated the withdrawal from Afghanistan, on a shorter timetable than Biden. If Biden hadn’t organized and extended Trump’s plan the situation would be much worse. And how is Biden to blame for Ukraine? As for Trump, multiple wars happened around the world under his watch, new conflicts were raging in Africa, and under Trump the Taliban, Russia and China expanded their power to new heights, under his watch.

This question was likely expected for some time, and the answer was carefully crafted and agreed upon by the Biden Administration. Words from the President are not uttered lightly. To say that the US will intervene militarily in Taiwan is a major escalation, for better or worse.
