  3. I hope one day you won’t have to come to another country out of desperation and hope for a better life. But if you did, if you came to a strange country, with a different language, you would expect or hope to receive compassion, concern, because all you wanted to do was come and work legally and get some help.

  9. In the UK there’s no right to own a gun. Does that mean the UK has less human rights than the US? Not in any meaningful sense, in fact NGO reports like the Democracy Index rate the UK as more democratic and less corrupt than the US.

  14.  @FaithwalkerTodd  10k Americans are murdered by guns every year, 20k more use guns to commit suicide. Hundreds of thousands of Americans are injured or assaulted by guns each year, but not killed. These rates are many times higher than any other developed nations’. This is proof gun control saves lives

  15.  @FaithwalkerTodd  take away the guns and the suicides will drop. Take away the guns and the gang murders will drop. As will the school shootings, there’s no reason to have guns.

  16.  @FaithwalkerTodd  we restrict drugs and this limits how many use and deal in them. We have drug control. If cocaine and heroin were legal more people would be using them, suffering from them, and society would be worse off. Same applies to guns.
