  10.  @twdjt6245  it’s not easy at all. If it were easy then everyone would do it. Also, remember that in general, 50% of all students drop out of their PhD programs. It’s rigorous unless you’re well versed and smart. Edit: but yes I agree that with hard work and diligence it’s not as hard as you might imagine. It’s still difficult though and not easy.

  11. Well, it’s true. IQ is mostly meaningless and was not used by scientists. She has a PhD which means she is an expert in science, made and presented her original thesis, and worked very hard

  12.  @austntexan  don’t joke, it’s very difficult to be any professor, even at a community college it is difficult, and more competitive than you might think. It’s a relaxing and rewarding job.

It is in fact difficult, and I personally believe that while anyone can do what they put their mind to accomplish, being smart is a choice and to be a scientist, you have to be smart.

  43. Hey Wassup well firstly, anytime you live in a more densely populated area there will be more crime in your vicinity. As will everything that is caused by humans. Secondly those places are all worse to live in because of the lack of jobs and opportunities, hence lower property values.

  48.  @KaMaJuSo  I work in biotech, which is a very broad field. At big companies like Pfizer, a lot of jobs are just doing the same stuff over and over again. But there are also R&D and engineering departments where highly educated and talented people have to innovate on their own.
