  10.  @Pirlisan  as well, whatever literature you’re reading about supposed Israeli land grabs on the Gaza Strip, ask yourself, does it make sense? For example, the Gaza Strip has limited geographic value. Israel would probably be much happier if Gazans were peaceful and good neighbors. Instead of doing stuff like launching rockets 🚀

  11.  @Askalan-fg1dt well…if using human shields is wrong, Hamas uses human shields much more often, and uses them to commit terrorism. IDF uses them in a limited way to fight terrorism. And ultimately the bullets are coming from Palestinians. So…what’s your point exactly?

  14.  @JohnDoe-dn9ez there’s no apartheid in Israel. Where does it exist? There’s nothing, except in Area C of the West Bank, which is populated with a few hundred thousand Palestinians, who are not Israeli citizens and thus not entitled to Israeli services. I don’t believe that is apartheid

Given that Hamas wages war every few years, an attack coming was expected on some level, but Israeli forces were still caught by surprise given the speed and coordination of the attack, and the defensive oversights made by Israeli forces who were committed to the West Bank

US has been actively steering developing nations to become democracies, by making USAID contingent on specific criteria, and by threatening others who may get out of line. This prevents many minor wars from ever starting

  38.  @mujn7262  I looked at most of these and they’re all ambiguous at best, deceptive at worst. Take the “Al-Aqsa Massacre 1990” for example. Or as Wikipedia calls it, 1990 Temple Mount killings. The article states that local Palestinians started throwing rocks at Jews/Israelis, prompting police to open fire.

  40.  @RobPires  well even if that’s true, that just means the laws of war, the UN, and indeed the world, are morally and logically wrong. Indeed, most people aren’t rational, and most nations on Earth are either authoritarian regimes or failed states. So this is highly possible. The West and Israel are morally superior.

Secondly, the settlers aren’t often seeking out trouble, usually Palestinians martyr themselves by seeking confrontation. So…their fault, they should stay in Area A, their zone of the West Bank. Israel is morally superior
