  1. Bernie Sanders is great, but let's be real here. Bernie Sanders knows that he will never be president. He's doing what a third party candidate does, talking about issues and trying to generate enough sympathy support to get then rolled into one of the main party's (Democratic Party obviously) platforms. Bernie Sanders is an idealist, Hillary Clinton is a pragmatist. Bernie Sanders may win the nomination, though this is unlikely. But if he does, he basically hands over the election to whatever Republican wins the GOP nomination, unless some fringe guy like Trump, Cruz, or Carson wins. In any case, even if Bernie Sanders wins the presidency, the Republican Congress is unlikely to cooperate.
