  9.  @mundus-p6m  if you’re asking about why Biden is hated so much, in my opinion, it’s the same hateful and cliquish mentality we’ve seen from right wing Americans in the past towards Obama and Hillary Clinton. It’s people who hate because of emotional arguments and not about actual policy. I believe this because there is no basis for Republican policies being effective. No other developed nation on Earth agrees with what the Republicans want. They all agree with the Democrats on all major issues like universal healthcare, gun control, acknowledging and fighting Climate Change, etc. There’s no logical reason to support Republican policies and oppose Democratic ones.

  10. @sedec paracec none of that has anything to do with the modern Democratic Party. Democrats who in the 60s and onwards supported racist policies were known as Dixiecrats. Some Democrats, notably Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Harry Truman, John F Kennedy, and Lyndon B. Johnson, and Jimmy Carter were very much pro-civil rights.
