  6. Absurd, the Palestinians started this conflict like they started all 3 of the wars since 1948, Palestinians shouldn’t complain when Israel takes countermeasures. Israel is only attacking Gaza after they launch rockets, and the reason why Hamas launches rockets is because they hate Israel for unreasonable demands, such as for Israel to dissolve, drop all borders and customs, and cede large chunks of land. And Hamas definitely deserves the pain, if Chomsky respects human rights then he should be praying for Hamas’s downfall. Not supporting their continued existence of cruelty and oppression.

And they are not the first insult. The conflict goes back to 1980’s when PLO attacked and the Lebanese Civil War broke out from within Lebanon, Israel counterattacked, and some Lebanese, resenting Israel and hating some Lebanese factions like the Christians, formed Hezbollah.

Hence why Israel, the West Bank, and Egypt all blockaded the Gaza Strip. Since then Hamas has continued to launch rockets and terrorist attacks it is only natural for Israel to push back
