@nessd.b1223 the land of Israel and Palestine was administered by British as “Mandatory Palestine” and as the UK and Europeans were decolonizing the Middle East, they decided there should be states for all the people, including a Jewish state for Jews. I don’t see how that is theft, anymore than the establishment of Jordan and Syria is.

⁠ @aft7837 Netanyahu and Likud may have initially thought Hamas is a good counterweight against the PA, because, if you remember the Second Intifada, the PA was unashamedly responsible for many terrorist attacks on Israel.

Palestine is not a good country. It is authoritarian, it starts all the wars, you must see it for what it is. A country that does not need to exist, indeed it never has. No country called Palestine ever existed.
