  2. Given how "over gassed" AKs tend to be to provide for adverse condition reliability the counter balance system in an infantry gun might be more valuable than it initially looks.

  3. The question is the difference in recoil with the counter balance in place and with it removed and the gas port modified so the forward gas is vented sideways to maintain bolt velocities?
