Jake Dee - The Suez Canal was built without any locks, it is an uninterrupted continuous body of water at sea level from the Mediterranean Sea to the Red Sea. It was dug along a horizontal datum line 26 feet below sea-level from one sea to the other, with the datum line and the sea level water’s surface running perfectly parallel OVER THE 100 MILES in straight lines not curved. If the earth's surface were curved there would have been 6,666.667 feet of curvature to account for. But they used flat plain trigonometry to do their calculations, because there is no curve.

Politics killed the Arrow, it should have never been cancelled, but who knows what goes on behind closed doors and the end result was death to the Arrow. We can only speculate what may have happened. The Arrow wasn't cancelled because it was made obsolete by Soviet missiles, that was just an excuse, the US was developing the F-4 Phantom, it also was a fighter and high speed interceptor, but it wasn't cancelled. Most likely the Arrow was a threat to the American Military Industrial Complex and it's foreign sales markets.
