I saw that video, when the Pak 40 was fired it brought everybody to attention immediately. It's powerful blast was shocking to most people who had no clue what it would do.

That was very cool, so glad to get your definition of "Blitzkrieg", I did not know it was Prussian Maneuver Warfare in in a WW2 context. It's interesting that Erich von Manstein never used the word and he was the master of Prussian Maneuver Warfare, and many would say the greatest general of WW2.

It's a cool looking tank, from your report it sound like the Germans urgently developed the Panther, but never really finalized it. They had to get it into the war ASAP (as soon as possible).

Tanks and Battleships are similar in their design and construction. Their mission is to kill or be killed and both are beautiful their own ways. When comes to the Bismarck and her maiden and final voyage, she was dealt a bad hand. Now it's easy to say now she shouldn't have gone when she did, but hindsight is 2020 in the year 2021.

@itsa_possum - I do like the look of the German half track, but you win. And at that time the US manufacturing capabilities were the largest in the world and could produce large quantities of M3 half-tracks. And as the saying goes "quantity has a quality all it's own."

The Pak 40 seems to me to be much more useful than the 88, for most targets it was very effective and a fine looking gun.

We all like the German tech and design, this was over seventy years ago, it is still impressive today. Good video and commentary, thanks. Wars are engineered to create the New World Order one world government and it is being done by the Vatican, Jesuits, Freemasons, Corporations, governments and they are all Kabbalist/Pagans. This is pure speculation, but if the German Navy had enough time to prepare for war and the war had started 5 years later than it did, the Germans would have built the Graf Zeppelin and other supporting ships, a carrier group.

The 6th Army was already worn out, under supplied, and out manned before the encirclement. And none of this was General Paulus fault, he was put in a grim situation. 95 Percent of the 6th army would die anyway, either in Stalingrad or as POWs. -- It would have been better for the 6th to try an immediate break-out of Stalingrad, it least they would die trying.

@looinrims ~ The destruction of 6th Army Group B at Stalingrad shouldn't have happened, they divided 6th Army into A and B groups and separated them, Army Group B had no support or reserves, and they were worn-out. General Manstein should been near Stalingrad months before to protect Army Group B.

I agree with what you are saying, but here is a Professor Bevin Alexander at Longwood University, in Farmville, Virginia, says Hitler lost the war by not listening to his generals. If the Allies were avoiding armored confrontation with the Tiger's, then they were most effective, but the problem was toward the end of the war Germany was fighting all alone against the US, the UK and it's empire countries and against Russia, the deck of cards was stacked against Germany, who couldn't provide the air cover, the artillery, the troops and logistical support for the Tigers. But the Tigers were beautiful tanks, they're very German looking, very impressive, and influenced tank design to this day.

As you say correctly Lindybeige shot him self in the foot on this one, I don't think he should have ever made the comparison, Bren was conceptually different weapon then MG42. Germany in 1944 lacked the resources and men to continue on, since the fall of Stalingrad in 1942, it was denied access to the oil fields in the Caucasus Mountains and would not have had the oil that was necessary to win the war. Great show, very interesting from the German point of view, Bernhard your more about crew interaction and ergonomics and Ralf is more about engineering. And your analysis and conclusions that it's more than the holy trinity of firepower, mobility and protection, but it's a whole host of other factors too, we can sense what problems the Germans engineers and tank crews had to assess.
