  1. There nothing green about the battery electric vehicles (BEV). They are created by mining large amounts of raw materials that damage the environment including water resources, this requires using mostly carbon based fuels to do this. Switching to BEV's will not solve environment problems, but they will hurt Western manufacturing, when governments mandate the ban internal combustion engine cars.
