  1. ​ @crankychris2  ~ Power plants send electricity through transmission lines to the various the EV charging locations and energy is lost in this process. It's propaganda to say EV's are 0-emissions vehicles, our governments and corporations want us to believe this. The manufacture of one lithium ion battery requires the mining of 200 tons of raw materials, and petrol and diesel equipment is used to do it. All life exists because of carbon dioxide, it's the gas of life and ocean plankton and volcanoes create the vast majority of carbon dioxide. The more CO2 the greener the vegetation, the better the crops and more abundant the food.
