  1. It's like Sherlock Holmes detectives in the air, really fascinating show. The Boeing 737 commercial airliner had a hidden defect in the rudder that caused the plane crash inexplicably. Extremely bright pilots and engineers recreated the events that lead to the crashes through a process of deduction reasoning and believed the problem to be the rudder control mechanism, but could not prove it because of inadequate black box data recording (in USA aircraft only). The mystery is solved when British Airways offers its data from similar aircraft in the UK, the Brits use a more comprehensive data collection method that can prevent accidents in the first place. The US should do the same! Boeing has nothing to say, no doubt their lawyers have instructed them to keep the mouths shut!

  2. Jimmy Hendricks -- It's good you have this data, although not all the crashes are airliners, it's interesting. Our government, aircraft manufacturers, and airlines should be make flying as safe as possible. If the UK has a better system for monitoring aircraft we should adopted it.

  3. KE Deas -- If I had been in that Korean 777, with a failed left engine on fire, and its going 100 knots down the runway, I might have changed my shorts after that, that would have been a serious incident.
