Politics killed the F-20, it could have been the best fighter of it's day. -- With Chuck Yeager's endorsement, it had to be good. It's a good looking fighter and it had a long design and development to perfect it's capabilities, from the F-5 Freedom Fighter in the 60s to the Tigershark in the 70s.

Winkle Brown with the Vampire did the first jet landing on a carrier, just to beat the Americans from being the first. Got to love the Brits.

My dad was a US Navy pilot veteran of WW2 and the Korean war, he flew both these planes and liked them both, but I think he preferred the Corsair. Great video, thank you.

@coastie1961 ~ I have heard the Lend-Lease required Britain to pay for military equipment, but the Soviet Union was given the equipment and did not pay. FDR was an admirer of the Soviet Union but wanted to destroy the British empire. The powers that rule our world are above incorporated governments and corporations, they are the owners and rulers of our world. They could care less about our sovereign nations, and our inalienable rights and freedoms.
