  1. Amazing that Lithium-ion batteries are being used in airliners. The most serious potential problem is a chance that the lithium ion battery could go into thermal runaway. Lithium ion batteries have sunk ships before, leveled parking garages and destroyed buildings. To me an airliner with Lithium-ion battery is a dumb idea.
