  1. It's incredible that a 24 story high rise residential building is clad with with combustible materials, it's hard to believe that British building code would allow that to happen. How could it have been permitted and renovated with combustible cladding is the major issue in my mind, that makes no sense. Fire sprinkles, emergency exit lights, and clear egressable exit pathways are mandated by building codes and fire marshals and should be enforced and punished if not enforced. People should be held accountable for this disaster, who were not doing their job and looking the other way for whatever reason.
