IMO, first of all the man bought Cybertruck, no doubt he paid too much money for it, and in so many ways this was NOT a smart purchase. And secondly he signed a contract with Tesla, which is another not so smart thing to do. Hopefully this man will learn from this, he probably will need a lawyer.

You are on target, EVs are not a solution for anything. Lithium batteries are restricted on airplanes to; -2 batteries over 100 watts, cannot to exceed 160 watts, and transported only on carry-on-luggage only. Lithium ion fires have sunk car transport ships and burned to the ground a steel and concrete car park building. And they should banned from parking structures, IMO.

The Second Law of Thermodynamics is the most universal regulator of natural activity known to science. ~ Pressurized gas always moves toward lower pressure when allowed to. It's insane and dangerous to power Scottish ferries with lithium ion battery, remember the Fremantle Highway transport ship was nearly sunk by burning EVs within. This is as dumb as LA Police cars and Emergency vehicle being powered by lithium ion batteries.

The smaller engines have to work harder to the create power to move the vehicles. Where as a the bigger engines are less stressed to produce the necessary power. ~ Carbon dioxide is a necessary gas for all life to exist. If C02 is a dangerous gas, where is the so called greenhouse roof that holds it in, it doesn't exist! ~ Mandating EVs and restricting C02 is not about the environment, but about controlling we the people.
