  1. Very well said Ed, the F-20 was what if aircraft. It wasn't in the interests of the Pentagon establishment and military industries to build the F-20 (other than Northrup at the time). Without their support it couldn't have gone anywhere, although it had growth potential and could have been one of the greatest fighters never built.
