  1. Boeing is a mess. The problem is why didn't Boeing start to redesign and/or replacement for the 737 twenty years ago, they had to know that it needed it. Airliners should be boring, stable, easy to fly, dependable, low maintenance and above all safe with many redundant safety features built in. MCAS is for fighter jets not airliners. Corporate Leadership in America are guilty of not reinvesting, developing new products, and training skilled labor since the 1970's, we have been going down hill since then.

  2. Boeing added the MCAS make up for MAX's pitch problems. The MAX had pitch problems because the engines were located more forward and higher up on the wing, then before. It became a different plane, Boeing should have redesigned the MAX but installed MCAS instead, it's all Boeing fault and the FAA for approving the MAX.
