  5. John Browning's father was a Mormon, John was the first son of his father's second wife, thanks to Mormon polygamy John Moses Browning was born into this world, greatest gun maker ever. And I find this very funny, God has a sense of humor, he knows the end from the beginning.

  8. Ian worked hard to put this video out, it was fantastic job considering some of the problems that occurred. Even in spite of the problems I still like the M1 Carbine, for the average Joe it is far superior than a hand gun for home defense. Terrific show, thanks.

  15. I get the feeling Ian likes the M4 Sherman. The Chieftain in effect was the tank commander schooling Ian on being a gunner. Machine guns everywhere, and the 50 cal. commands very ones respect. I was surprised to see 76mm fire, that was a treat, only a fool wouldn't be scared of that gun. And the M1911 is not Chieftains favorite pistol, well now, we will have to forgive him that. I'll bet Ian was hitting that vehicle 200 yards away with that Colt 45, Bravo Ian. Don't know what you are going to do for an encore, that was a fantastic video.

  27. That clearly demonstrates the M14's full auto uncontrollability. There was clearly politics in play when US Army rejected FN FAL to replace the M1 Garand.

  32. Great guns and history, unfortunately the Boers lost, when Winston Churchill established concentration camps for the Boer women and children and thousands died, the Boer men were forced to surrender to protect their families.

  34. Ian, a lot of Americans don't like the Chauchat, but like you said the French had a reasons for it and the they can be good at design and often innovative. This much more realistic story of the Chauchat than I have heard before.
