The Mig 25 max speed was Mach 3.1 for the recon version and only for a very short time and the engine burned up, Plus it couldn't get to that altitude before the SR was gone. They never had a missile that could do it either, not even the SA6 so stop the BS Propaganda!

  3. Actually most we're nerds as we think of them. My father was a combustion instability expert rocket scientist and was a WWII Machine-gunner in the 8th armored division and he used a slide rule until 1975. He commented on a "nerds" idea that computers were better because they were accurate to the 6th place to the right of the decimal point and my father commented that anything past the 4th was immaterial and he was correct and things can't be manufactured that accurately anyway.
