  1. Except Kursk was a trap to draw in the Ukrainians and then destroy them . That’s what’s happening . Hodge doesn’t understand modern warfare tactics . Meanwhile by taking troops from the Donbass to Kursk has resulted in the weakening of Ukraine defence lines which are now collapsing. Being incompetent is certainly working for the Russians The American retreat from Afghanistan was a more obvious example of incompetence

  7.  @MrTangolizard  The soviets left they were not thrown out like the Americans were in humiliation. By the way Russia was not fighting the Taliban . The group didn’t exist until 1994. Get your history right America got kicked out in humiliation. American troops killed . Billions worth of weapons left behind in the panic . Russia withdrew at their own pace

  8.  @MrTangolizard  The Americans broke the treaty then the Taliban through them out . Humiliation The Russians were smart enough to leave after 10 years not 20 , in orderly fashion taking all their men and weapons with them and leaving an intact government in power
