They have enough now that’s why they are advancing They were using active defence . Defend and move forward when the opportunity arises. The Russians simply moved out of those regions because of troop shortages and the Ukrainians moved in If there were major battles there would by physical evidence of it and there isn’t . The Russians made a strategic withdrawal all part of manoeuvre warfare They left a small number of troops to hold the lines while the manoeuvre was accomplished . Ukraine had huge losses before the withdrawal

  40. So let me get this straight. Russian military budget is 145 billion annually . 35% of this is going to the war in Ukraine ( 6% of its overall GDP ) In 2025 the war will probably be over . And then Russia will have to increase its Military budget to 460 billion for some unknown reason . ? Why does Russia need to increase its military budget when its present budget is more than enough to cover the cost of the war ?

  48. @ A few facts for you . The IMF has just upgraded the Russian economy to fourth biggest in the world and the biggest in Europe with a projected growth of nearly 4% for the next year . According to the Pentagon Russian army is far stronger now than before the war Russia is a commodities superpower so much more than oil . And most importantly no debt The west survives by printing money which increases debt and inflation . And there is no way to pay it back .
