@pgr3290 Russia has many more commodities than oil and gas. Oil and gas will always be in demand . Especially if there are shortages caused by war in the Middle East . Russia can’t lose . Oil and gas price is low they sell more . Price is high bigger profit

@ Russia has become very independent in all matters of production including oil production. If they can produce sophisticated weapons I think they can produce anything technologically . @ Irrelevant . All currencies fluctuate . The Ruble is stronger than the Japanese yen and many other currencies. Many countries now trade with their own currencies ,Russia and China trade with Rubles and yuan for 75% of their trade . India Ruble and Rupee . Get informed It is the dollar that is being dropped

And Russia rakes in the roubles Russia pays China in Rubles then China coverts it to yuan That’s how it works . Also means less use of the dollar Another backfire for western sanctions
