Pokrovsk is now surrounded and doomed . Russia has always been open to negotiations . Russia initially went into Ukraine with 100,000 troops . They could never take Kiev with that small number. That proves Russia had no plans to take Kiev or large parts of Ukraine You neglect to mention the 2014 coup , the breaching of the Minsk agreement by Ukraine at the behest of the west . Those are the reasons for the situation in Ukraine now .

@ It’s a very important strategic town . Very important . I suggest you research. Ukrainians wouldn’t be dying in their thousands to protect Pokrovsk if it wasn’t important You don’t guess in war . Maybe the Americans do that’s why they never win one Russia is only interested in taking pro Russian territory about 45% of the territory . The most important parts economically . Time is not a Factor . Russia has all the time in the world . They can keep the other 55% of Ukraine in the dark by taking out the grid permanently What I’m saying is that Russia has already won
