Soon a BRICS currency backed by gold will make all this talk irrelevant. Ruble is stronger now than in 2022. Eventually the Ruble will be just be used locally in Russia . A new gold backed BRICS currency will be used for international trade . Say goodbye to the dollar Russians get paid in Rubles so a small drop in value compared to the dollar won’t affect them . They have just had a wage rise anyway Anything that affects energy supply will push the price of oil and gas . More money for Russia . Another backfire on the sanctions

@ . The Ruble will be used domestically within Russia the new currency internationally . No one will want the dollar for sure A currency backed by nothing

@ A weaker Ruble is good for trade exports . Other advantages too . The Indonesian currency is one of the weakest in the world , far weaker than the Ruble . And yet Indonesia has the 7th biggest economy in the world. How weak or strong a currency is when compared to the dollar doesn’t reflect the strength of an economy necessarily . Wishful thinking that the Russian economy will collapse because the Ruble is slightly weaker at the moment. Russia has won the war in Ukraine and humiliated the west get used to it

Except it won’t be happening. Russian media while a lot better than western media is still tabloid to a degree

Except what he says is inaccurate. He never mentions BRICS . The existence of BRICS makes his predictions irrelevant Cheering on a Russian collapse which would also collapse the global economy is the epitome of stupidity

@ the Power of sanctions usually backfires . They certainly have on Russia . Today Russia is far more independent economically while western economies are mired in debt , inflation and shortages Within Russia the Ruble is the main currency by the way and it works just fine The Russian people will not be effected by the drop in the Ruble which will be temporary anyway as they get paid in Rubles Any sanction that affects energy supply will result in energy price rise . More money for Russia
