@Nihilianth America lost few troops because the enemy was weak with no serious weapons . No air defence ! Airforce , navy , tanks , missiles etc Ukraine is different . The biggest nato army in Europe . With every conceivable type of weapon , full support of 40 countries including AWAC And satellite intelligence And in two years of high intensity conflict Russia has lost 60,000 troops according to the pentagon while inflicting massive losses in men and equipment on the Ukrainians while using only a fraction of its army and with great restraint You need to reassess your position

And supported by 40 countries , trained , armed and given targeting information and satellite intelligence They were not the Taliban Russia could also have gone in with maximum power obliterated Ukraine killed a million people . @arcadiusdrathalas6007 It’s not a rump state of the Soviet Union . Different politics , different economic system and a leading world power in if’s own right After the war Ukraine will be cut off from the sea its economy in ruins 50% of the population gone . That is the definition of a rump state

@mrgrinch837 America isn’t very good at either historically . Drew with North Korea in conventional war . Lost to insurgents in Vietnam And Afghanistan. Their proxy wars in Syria , Georgia and Ukraine were and are disasters . As for weapons , Americas are the most expensive

@teleguy5699 They are stifled by the fact that they are not that good . Only fighting weak defenceless countries like Iraq , Afghanistan, Libya etc in low intensity war does not prepare them for high intensity war against a peer power like Russia or China

@paladinsix9285 I am talking beating a major military power. . The Phillipines , Cuba , South Korea are not major powers and those wars are years ago . And america lost to Cuba in the Bay of pigs invasion America lost badly in Vietnam , Afghanistan, Korea was a stalemate, Iraq remains unfinished

@ Excuse me Wagner Is infantry only . They were ambushed by the Americans who used artillery and air strikes . Hardly a fair fight Russia is the fourth biggest economy in the world when using PPP And Russian economy is based on the commodities market which includes oil and gas. But they export many things . @chrisd4432 Russia doesn’t need nukes. Their latest hypersonic missile the Oreshnik has the power of a tactical nuke but is a conventional weapon . Range 5000 kms . Try and cope with that . What’s America got ? Very sinkable aircraft carriers , aircraft like the f35 and f22 that have never been tested in real combat against advanced air defence and a rather small land army that has no experience in modern warfare

@MJ19438 Did America keep the gloves on when they killed one million Iraqis , three million Vietnamese , three million North Koreans Americans have scant regard for human life They fight countries that can’t defend themselves like Iraq or Libya and then play the hero . Pathetic America cannot sustain wars with Russia or China . No manufacturing base to make weapons and ammunition. Not enough troops without bringing in conscription . No way to ship weapons across the oceans to the war theatres without their convoys being sunk by Russian or Chinese long range hypersonic missiles . And not enough raw materials . You live in a movie .
