@matthewfusaro2590 Apparently Europe have spades not shovels . But there is fierce debate about the definition of a shovel . So it is hard to be decisive on the matter. Europe also have a hybrid called a “ shade “ half shovel half spade . There is even debate about that, with many purists saying it is not a shade but a “ spoval “ . Which is 51% spade 49% shovel . . . The debate rages . Meanwhile the hole the Europeans are in keeps getting deeper . No doubt it will all be explained after the war

Why is Putin playing this silly game . Any agreements with the west are pointless . Putin is very timid and it’s making the situation worse . This war should have lasted no more than a few months . Instead it is dragging on and escalating .

@psymantronic1528 Russia has a massive manufacturing capacity . It can replace all losses . It is much stronger now than before the war . More troops more artillery , tanks , ships and missile . And all battle hardened

And where are they to take off from .Any airfields in Ukraine will be targets for Russian missiles Russia has a massive advantage in artillery and stand off weapons that will keep losses down Ukraine is finished hence the cut in funding and media coverage

Putin’s reputation has taken a big hit from the debacle in Syria . Can any ally really depend on Russia after this ? Putin’s total silence on Georgia or the elections in Romania etc and obviously Syria show great weakness . BRICS is in serious doubt in my opinion .

@operaatio5117 why are Russia a threat . What would they gain by invading Europe .? The answer is nothing . Europe is bankrupt , no manufacturing, no natural resources . Who in their right mind would take it on ? And if they wanted to invade they wouldn’t do it by going through Ukraine the most fortified country in Europe with the second biggest army in Europe. Much easier to take another route .

@ I’m watching the meekness of Russia and China in all of this and conclude they are not pro active enough to succeed They lost in Bengladesh and Syria . Are on shaky ground in Georgia , Thailand . The war in Ukraine grinds on without an end in sight To me this all indicates looming problems . There is a lack of needed ruthlessness in Russian leadership . Very weak indeed
