  1. Russia should have taken out the grid , telecommunications, rail system , command and control centres and the government of Ukraine in the first few months before invading . Cut off gas supplies to Europe immediately . And this war would have been over in a very short time . The SMO was deeply flawed from day one. Poor strategic thinking by Putin
