  2. Dude. You're so Karen here. The documentary is pretty much spot on. Race was a major factor gor not taking all of Mexico. Same for the Philippines. Polk was all for PROVOKING a war and grabbing California. You blame Mexico for actually defending it's land and imply it should have sold it like France. France sold a colony. Mexico did not want to sell its own country. Hundreds of counties that cannot defend their borders. I guess they should just sell to the US.
