Fun Fact: EV's actually do more damage to the environment due to the battery packs themselves; strip mining the materials before leaving a massive carbon footprint turning them into batteries.

@beths4934 And that's the OTHER half of the problem, right there!

The number of late model vehicles should surprise anyone! (Most of them were built in Mexico anyway! 🤣🤣🤣)

I know this is like way off topic, buuuut, if that place is legit haunted, that could be a revenue stream right there; renting it out to paranormal investigators for a nominal nightly fee...

Forgive me for saying so, but just where exactly does the Biden administration think all that electricity comes from? Few places are consistently sunny enough for Solar to be a viable option and the only place in the country where wind makes sense is Wyoming. 100% wind all the time with little to no objection from locals. If anything, the people of Wyoming have fully embraced wind farms as blowing wind has always been a beloved, if not annoying part of their state culture and identity. That and using creative derivatives of the F word as part of their chosen vernacular.

@Tonyreed-o8k Actually, ummmm, no.... The chemicals used just to PRODUCE solar cells are SO toxic to the environment, they are only two steps shy from low levels of ground radiation resulting from nuclear piles not being buried deep enough. After their life cycle, solar panels, because of how toxic they are to the environment, need to be recycled properly in the end. All told, it costs about 3 times more to run a solar farm than it does to burn coal. 'Solar is CHEAPER!' said all the narrow minded people not looking at the bigger picture...

Beeteedubs, that quote was Churchill in 1948. He was speaking to the complete lackluster approach that Parliament was taking in the post war era regarding spending on national defense. Of course he was right with the Korean war looming right around the corner.
