The bath tub thing might be a rumor (side note, according to the rumor, it happened twice), but what IS true is that he is the first president to ride in a car, securing funds from congress to remove the stables and build a garage in it's place. The running joke was that being forced to pull him around in a horse drawn carriage was cruelty to animals, LMAO! More importantly, he also built both the west wing AND the Oval office (insert fat joke here).

@pinkimietz3243 A lot of reasons actually; the forced confession after being beaten with a phone book and rubber hose, the haphazard way the C.S.I. was handled, but more than anything, was the incident in prison long after his conviction. He was singled out away from the guards, held down, injected with Sodium Pentothal & repeatedly grilled over and over again, and never once did his story regarding the bushy haired intruder ever waiver.

He looked down into the brown dirt and saw color; colors so vivid & bright they would bring a tear to your eye.

We actually studied this case in my high school Gov/Due Process class; personally I've always believed him to be innocent.

@nobleactual7693 Bench seats! He took up the whole damn thing and I think they had to modify them slightly so he'd fit... Honestly, I'd be more concerned about how the suspension managed to hold up under his weight...

Dear Simon Whistler & company ~ I would simply like to note I was unceremoniously unsubscribed from this channel by Youtube without my knowledge or consent! I know, I know, put it into a memo entitled 'stuff we already know'

Bonus Fact: Traditional Japanese Seppuku actually involves more than simply self disembowelment. When performed properly, it is always done with your closest friend in the world, and quite literally involves said friend bearing witness to the self disemboweling part. When performed according to the strictest of Japanese rituals, it requires said friend beheading your dying corpse before turning said sword used for such a gruesome act on themselves, killing themselves as well by stabbing themselves through the heart. When performed properly, it is one of the most honorable methods to wit a person of traditional Japanese faith can kill themselves without condemning their eternal soul to damnation.

I would like to note that as a result of WWII, Imperial decree to all Japanese enlisted men stated if one was unable to do so, self disembowelment alone was still an honorable form of Seppuku, especially for all officers of the Japanese military, and was widely believed to still allow the souls of said soldiers to pass into the after-life, uninhibited.
