Happy for him and also feel bad for him. Hopefully he got some decent good hearted companion. Luckily fate in a way saved him from the trash in his life, otherwise they would have ended up leeching off of him.... Such greedy in laws are quite common and are hardly discussed about... How is it even legal is surprising..

Completely agree with you, having money can't fill a empty heart, so hopefully he finds his purpose in life and some kind souls with whom he can spend his days with. His words and actions were wrongly interpreted as being lazy. To me it felt like a man with a broken heart and loss of faith in society..... And yes I am sure his x wife and x girlfriend might have even contacted him now that he is rich, such people usually don't have any shame...
