This is a serious topic that needs to be addressed accordingly. The support provided to women for giving birth should come from government and not from their employers. This way hiring women will not be considered as a burden for private sector and the government providing support is nothing but it ensuring there will be more tax payers in the future. Continuing to force the private sector to foot the bill will continue the vicious cycle of companies treating women as burden and women choosing careers over motherhood.
