These problems were bound to happen, the real estate sector which around the world collapses from time to time thus correcting its value, how can that sector not collapse for decades in a country. Forcing people to buy houses and making them think it will give them guaranteed returns are basically how a scam works. If everyone put all their life savings into houses and when housing sector collapses it will result in an avalanche of poor people. Hope the whole hukou system is abolished and people can start have a better stable life, rather than drain their entire life savings for cement boxs...

Wanna marry- have to buy a house, Wanna not go broke because of crazy costs for education for your kids- Have to buy a house, Want avoid paying high hospital bills - have to buy a house, Want to not go insane because of the constant taunting by your relatives about why you don't own a house - Have to buy a house So people basically have no choice in the matter, this vicious cycle is going to continue till everything just collapses one day.
