  2. No, a lack of belief of life after death is a metaphysical claim beyond driving emotions. You could say that it’s reverse, that people who don’t believe in life after death are more anxious, that’s also not entirely true, but it’s better than thinking that anxiety leads to a metaphysical belief

  4. Aristotle and St Thomas Aquinas referred to humans as the rational animal. I even think remembering the Presbyterian Westminster Confession of Faith says the same. I don’t know why everyone forgets that philosophy started before the 18th century, and why everyone assumes that rationality is synonymous with atheism and scientism.
