@xxBLKSNXxx That's not the problem. There are many people in all lines of work including political, that are valuable after 65. Then there are dangerous people like MTG, Boebert, and others that are young enough but clearly unqualified.

@xxBLKSNXxx You don't want one bad apple spoiling it for the rest. For example, I am impressed by Jamie Raskin if he decides to run. He'd be 65 after one term and could be a potential shame he he could not continue. On the hand you have Ron De insanity who is plenty young and would undoubtedly be a disaster.
