I believe it will take a minimum of 8-10 years, or more, for the Dem party to gather itself up, find and stick to a new, positive identity and convince voters that they are worthy of votes again. They have been on a self destructive path for some time now and the 2024 election brought that clearly to public attention. They are their own worst enemies by far, but they are so caught up in their relentless efforts to disrespect the Republican party, they can't see the forest for the trees! John Fitzgerald Kennedy would be absolutely appalled at the way his party thinks and functions today! It would be so wonderful for this country to return to 2 properly functional parties again.
