@Christopher Manners - Plead your case somewhere else Dilbert because you are so far out of touch with reality here it's sickening! I suppose the other people - not cops - were making up his threatening them with a knife? You are despicable! Just another of too many cop haters that will say anything to make it look like the cops were bad and the criminal was killed unnecessarily. Mr. Xiong decided himself that this was his day to die. You damned well better hope that a cop is present if someone threatens your life!

And whose fault is that?? You come to America, you learn our language, for your protection as well as others. The family is wasting their money on a lawsuit for sure. If the officer wasn't justified in using force to protect his life and others from a man charging at him with a huge knife, then the word "justification" is a complete falsehood. There is nothing "interesting" about this case.

@kpopisamazing - That has already been stated 11 days prior - the 2nd comment on this video. I don't care if he's Vietnamese, that has no bearing at all on his actions. The man was obviously crazed and enraged, and threatened others and finally charged at the Officer with a massive knife - it was his time to die, no excuses can change that fact!

@Anth Sharp - You clearly aren't familiar with a tazer's limits. Did you take a look at the heavy coat the perp was wearing? It would not have penetrated that coat, so the firearm was necessary. I have seen videos of men not stopping after repeated tazer firings so the shooting was very much justified!
