I have two dachas except for my apartment. Do you know what a dacha is? A plot of land with a garden and a summer house, mine on the bank of a river for barbecues and fishing. There is an old outdoor toilet, because it is in the forest, and it is natural. My second dacha has a large house with all amenities, including unlimited gas. Tomatoes, cucumbers and strawberries grow here, as well as potatoes. The prices have increased slightly over the past two years, as have income and wages. @sudanid no one claims that Russia is heaven on earth. There are many problems there, many of them, by the way, were created by the rotten West back in the 90s. But now Russia is developing and faces problems of growth, not problems of degradation. I remember the 90s very well. When a third of the friends used heroin, and a third went to prison. @DmitriBron1973 The double-down strategy won't help to win. They underestimated Russia and had only plan A - destroying the Russian economy and changing the regime (without plan B). It failed badly. They couldn't catch up with Russian military production, but now China and Russia are working together. And it seems like Putin and Xi are a few steps ahead. The US will try to push Europe into the meat grinder, but I think they are late by 30 years anyway. Deepstate/neocons still think they are in the 1990s, but today it looks like the US is like the last version of the USSR in 1989. (Nobody seriously thought in 1989 that the USSR would collapse). Antiwar protests will grow and the population will not fight for geopolitical interests. I am pretty sure BRICS will launch its own currency in one or two years and the dollar will collapse quickly with the new currency called the Unit. Destroying the US economy is the best way for China to avoid a real war.
