Imo the European Union has mostly been a big success in terms of both peace in Europe, economically better equality between the countries, making especially the small relevant in the big game. Europe needs to unite even more to be able to counter balance between the US and China in the future. And Great Brexit:) should join again.

  24. Desalination is nothing new anymore. It is - and have been used om ships for a Long time, and it is used in rich countries like oil-rich desert states, especially in Arabia. But it is not without problems, it is very energy-demanding proces and there's the problem with the waste, the brine - the concentrated salt and other chemical residues are a part of the problem. It literally kills all life around the area where it is dumped/pumped out.

There's no way stopping it. About faith, I'm not religious, not at all, so I really don't care about what happens to churhes, mosques and places like that. Museums...? :) - but I want to say that even though I'm not religious myself, I respect that other people believes. Be good and stay safe. Peace!

As air warms it ascends, as it cools it descends leading to high pressure and this difference then makes movement aka wind. I knew this, but checked facts before replying to your comment. I am from the arctic, born and raised here. When I was a child in winter time the sea used to freeze over as far as our eyes could see. When this happened there would be no wind for months rarely disturbed by a few days with Eastern warmer winds from the Greenlandic inland ice.
