  1. Russell Brand the serial sexual abuser? That Russell Brand?? He was always a very weird, fast-talking conman. When Ian Hislop disdains you, even when your on his team in HIGNFY, you are immediately suspect for me, too.

  2. I remember the look of utter contempt on Ian Hislop's face with Brand on his HIGNFY team. Hislop is a pretty straight shooter, if a little too stick in the mud for me. But I saw some real small-r 'republican' spirit in him in his Beethoven's Fifth two part documentary.
