  3. Buckley always seemed to be a calm influence on the RWNJs using the money he INHERITED. His only really redeeming act was his championing of a liberal activist Allard Lowenstein who was later murdered, and whom Buckley wrote a very personal eulogy for, as far as I'm concerned. Other Jewish figures were already successes on their own, so he was just dealing with a relative equal in the NYC scene. Otherwise, he was a typical Nepo, spoiled jerk who could like people he wanted, but who could also condemn whole sectors of society at the same time. His subsidy of his continuing business failure The National Review did nothing but keep RWNJs in that cesspit from starving. Think Pat Buchanan as the epitome of this kind of rabid RWNJ. Think the convicted felon Dinsh D'Sewer, think Joe Sobran. All reprehensible bigots.
